Q: What are the guest suites like at Beach House Outeirinho?

A: Every suite at Beach House Outeirinho has an oversized king bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Two of the suites ( Amendoeira and Azujelo ) have an extra single bed to accommodate up to three (3) people in the room. One of the suites, Fado, has a bathtub in the private bathroom. All king beds can be converted to two twin beds for your stay with advanced request prior to visit.

Q: How close is Beach House Outeirinho to downtown Ericeira?

A: Beach House Outeirinho is located 3 km from downtown Ericeira. It is a nice stroll downhill to town if you have good walking shoes but back is uphill. Otherwise, you will want a car or bike. Car services (such as Uber) are also available and affordable and often much easier than finding parking in the downtown district.

Q: Does Beach House Outeirinho have parking? What about EV charging?

A: Parking is available on property for guests and on the street next to the hotel subject to availability. We are sorry to say that we do not yet have car charging on the premises but there are several places close by to access charging services.

Q: Is there a pool?

A: Yes, there is a pool and all guests are welcome to use it between 10 am and 10 pm. Outside those hours we keep it closed to maintain the peace and quiet for the guests and neighbors relaxing nearby. The pool does not have a lifeguard on duty so all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Guests are welcome to eat poolside and we have pool towels available at the hotel. The pool is not heated but we can let you know the temperature anytime. There is no smoking or vaping anywhere at Beach House Outeirinho, including poolside.

Q: Are there restaurants, bars or cafes nearby?

A: Beach House Outeirinho is in the residential neighborhood of Outeirinho so the best options for food/drinks are in downtown Ericeira which is 3 km away. We serve a complimentary (free) continental breakfast to all guests every morning that includes coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, bread and cheese between 8am - 10am. There are also several food delivery services that we are happy to recommend if you would like to order food to the hotel. Downtown Ericeira has dozens of great bars, cafes and eateries. We are happy to share out recommendations and help to find one that fits your needs.

Q: What is the pet policy?

A: Pets are not allowed on the property at any time. This means they can not be in the car or in the hotel. Dogs, cats, reptiles and birds must all stay home. Sorry…it is the law.

Q: Is the hotel kid-friendly?

A: Yes! Kids are welcome. We have a couple of cribs that can be reserved ahead of time if you need one. We also have one (1) highchair in the breakfast room for meals. The pool does not have a lifeguard on duty so all kids need to be watched carefully at the pool at all times. A: There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the hotel, it’s the law.
